Margherita Harris
Margherita is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Pittsburgh’s Center for Philosophy of Science. She is also a Visiting Fellow in the Department of Philosophy, Logic and Scientific Method at the London School of Economics, where she completed her PhD at the end of 2021.
Her research interests lie in the philosophy of science and epistemology, with a special focus on modelling under uncertainty, robustness analysis and climate science. She also has a strong interest in foundational issues in the philosophy of statistics. While she currently characterizes herself as a “severe tester,” she intends to further investigate the implications of her position in relation to the philosophy of statistics, the philosophy of science, and epistemology.
