History

Since the inception of its Visiting Fellows Program in 1977 through the spring of 2016, the Center has hosted over 300 philosophers, historians, and scientists from around the globe.

Every four years, Visiting Fellows congregate at the Quadrennial Fellows conference. Past conferences have been held in Rytro, Poland (2004); Bariloche, Argentina (2000); Castiglioncello, Italy (1996); Rytro, Poland (2004); Athens, Ohio, USA (2008); Mugla, Turkey (2012); Lund, Sweden (2016).
