The Center for Philosophy of Science is staffed by a small team of permanent staff and one HPS graduate student. We’re here to assist our Fellows, manage our programs, and plan events. Since 2016, the Center has been under the direction of Edouard Machery, Distinguished Professor of the Department of History and Philosophy of Science at the University of Pittsburgh, a member of the Center for the Neural Basis of Cognition (University of Pittsburgh-Carnegie Mellon University), and an Adjunct Research Professor in the Institute for Social Research at the University of Michigan.
